Special Quartz Tube for Tube Furnace
Quartz tube is a special industrial technical glass made of silica, which is a very good basic material. It is usually used in a tubular electric furnace with a heating temperature below 1200°C.
Quartz tubes can be divided into “qualified tubes” → “primary tubes” → “superior tubes” → “dehydroxylation tubes” according to different performances. The quartz tubes sold by our company are the highest grade dehydroxylation tubes, and the service life and temperature resistance are the best among all quartz tubes.
High purity quartz tube special for tube furnace.
1.High temperature resistance.
The softening point temperature of quartz glass is about 1730°C. Most manufacturers provide excellent-grade quartz tubes that can be used for a long time at 1100°C. Our quartz tubes not only can be used for a long time at 1150°C, but also can be used for a short time (within 5h) at 1200℃.
Except for hydrofluoric acid, the dehydroxylated quartz tube hardly chemically reacts with other acids. Its acid resistance is 30 times that of ceramics and 150 times that of stainless steel. Especially its chemical stability at high temperatures is any other engineering materials that are incomparable.
3.Resistant to rapid cold and heat, long service time.
The thermal expansion coefficient of the dehydroxylated quartz tube we produce is extremely small and can withstand drastic temperature changes. The quartz glass is heated to about 1200°C and will not burst when placed in normal temperature water.

Precautions during use
- It is best to clean the inner and outer tube walls after using the quartz tube five or six times, because some uncertain elements will cause crystallization of the quartz tube during high temperature sintering, also known as devitrification.
- According to our extensive testing, human sweat remains on the surface of the quartz tube. Crystallization will not be ruled out after heating at high temperature, so it is best to wear gloves when handling the quartz tube to prevent sweat from remaining on the surface of the quartz tube .
